Vandalized.
Restored. Back to Normal.
Graffiti and vandalism damage your property's appearance, value, and security posture — professional removal protects surfaces and supports your insurance claim.
What We Do
Surface-Specific Removal. Full-Scope Restoration.
Vandalism and graffiti cleanup is more than aesthetics. Improper graffiti removal can permanently damage the underlying surface — the wrong solvent on brick, stucco, or painted concrete does more harm than the graffiti itself. Cantt Restoration approaches vandalism cleanup with the same documentation-first, surface-specific care we bring to every restoration job: we identify the substrate, match the removal method to the material, and document the full scope of damage for your insurance carrier.
Surface-Specific Graffiti Removal
We identify the substrate — masonry, painted drywall, glass, metal, wood — and select the appropriate removal method (solvent, pressure washing, media blasting, chemical stripping) to eliminate graffiti without damaging the underlying surface.
Pressure Washing & Surface Cleaning
For exterior surfaces, we deploy commercial-grade pressure washing equipment with appropriate pressure and temperature settings for the specific material — not a one-size approach that damages masonry or strips sealed finishes.
Paint Matching & Touch-Up
Where removal leaves ghosting or surface variation, we match and apply color-correct paint or sealant to restore a uniform appearance. The goal is a surface that looks like the incident never happened.
Window & Glass Restoration
Scratched, etched, or painted glass surfaces are assessed for restoration versus replacement. Restoration is almost always more cost-effective — we provide an honest on-site evaluation before recommending replacement.
Interior Vandalism Cleanup
We clean, repair, and restore interior spaces damaged by vandalism, including broken fixtures, damaged drywall, overturned contents, and debris removal — full-scope interior restoration under one accountable team.
Content Inventory & Recovery
Vandalized properties frequently involve disturbed or damaged contents. We inventory, document, and where possible restore affected items as part of the cleanup scope — content restoration is always our first approach before recommending replacement.
Immediate Steps
What You Should Do Right Now
- 1 Call 911 to report the vandalism before beginning any cleanup. Law enforcement documentation of the vandalism is essential for your insurance claim — do not clean up before the police report is filed. If you do not feel safe on the property, walk out and wait for law enforcement.
- 2 Video the full extent of the damage before anything is touched, then photograph every affected surface in detail. Start with video to capture overall context, then photograph each surface specifically. This documentation record is the foundation of your insurance claim.
- 3 Do not attempt to remove graffiti with household solvents or pressure washers. Incorrect products and pressure settings permanently damage brick, concrete, stucco, and painted surfaces — often causing more expensive repairs than the graffiti removal itself.
- 4 Call Cantt Restoration at (903) 251-9525. We assess on-site, document the full scope, and begin removal using the correct method for your specific surfaces. We do not give estimates over the phone — we need to see the substrate and the graffiti medium to give you an accurate scope.
Insurance & Documentation
How We Document It
Pre-Removal Damage Documentation
We photograph and video all vandalized surfaces and affected contents before any work begins — a complete record of the loss as we found it. This documentation is the foundation of your adjuster's scope review and supports accurate claim valuation.
Surface and Method Documentation
We document the substrate type, the removal method selected, and the products used — providing your adjuster a clear basis for the line items in the cleanup scope. This level of detail reduces supplement requests and speeds claim resolution.
Before-and-After Photo Record
We photograph every treated surface before and after removal, giving your insurance carrier visual confirmation of the work completed. A thorough before-and-after record is the standard your adjuster expects and what we deliver on every job.
Why Cantt
Built Different. Independent.
Independent, Not Franchised
We assess your specific surfaces and select the right removal method — we are not bound to a single franchise cleaning protocol that may not fit your substrate. Every building and every graffiti event is different, and our approach reflects that.
Insurance Experience From Both Sides
Vandalism is a covered peril under most commercial and homeowner policies. Our former adjuster staff knows what documentation carriers need and produces it on every job — that knowledge means faster claim processing and fewer gaps in your coverage.
Full-Scope Response
We do not just clean graffiti — we restore the complete affected area, including contents, interior spaces, and any structural surfaces that require additional treatment. One call, one team, everything handled from assessment through final restoration.
Content Restoration First
Damaged or displaced contents are inventoried, documented, and processed for restoration at our facility before we recommend replacement. Content restoration consistently produces better outcomes for policyholders and reduces claim totals for carriers.

Questions
Frequently Asked
Can graffiti always be removed without repainting?
It depends on the surface, the paint or medium used, and how long it has been there. On non-porous surfaces like glass, metal, and sealed concrete, full removal without repainting is frequently achievable. On porous surfaces like unsealed brick, stucco, and wood, the paint or medium penetrates the surface and complete removal often requires a combination of chemical treatment and repainting or recoating to restore a uniform appearance. We assess on-site and give you an honest evaluation of what the surface requires — we do not give scopes over the phone.
Do I need a police report before calling you?
You should call 911 to file a police report before any cleanup begins — law enforcement documentation is essential for your insurance claim and cannot be created after the fact. Once the report is filed (or while you are waiting for law enforcement), call us at (903) 251-9525 so we can mobilize. We will coordinate our arrival around the law enforcement timeline if needed.
Is vandalism covered by my insurance policy?
Vandalism is a covered peril under most standard homeowners and commercial property policies, subject to your deductible and any policy exclusions. Our staff includes former insurance agents and adjusters — we document the full scope of vandalism damage in the format carriers need, which speeds claim processing and reduces the likelihood of scope being left off the claim. Contact your carrier to confirm coverage and call us to document and remediate.
How quickly can you respond to a vandalism event?
We maintain 24-hour, 7-day availability for emergency response throughout Tyler, Longview, and East Texas. After a vandalism event, early response matters — some graffiti media bond more deeply to porous surfaces over time, and extended exposure increases removal complexity. Call us at (903) 251-9525 as soon as law enforcement has documented the scene.
